THE GARIBALDI THEATER OF PIAZZA ARMERINA

The Garibaldi theater of Piazza Armerina was built to the east, close to the fourteenth-century city wall, in front of the church of Santo Stefano, most likely at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

According to the description of the Little Shepherds, the designer in 1902 of the current prospectus, the facade is in Renaissance style;

four medallions placed on the first floor contain the center, the figures of Giuseppe Verdi and Vincenzo Bellini and laterally those of Vittorio Alfieri and Carlo Goldoni. A decorative group created by sculptor decorator Easter Mass of Barry, complete the harness of the prospectus.
