THE ITALIAN MUSEUM OF COMICS AND PICTURE IN LUCCA

The Italian Museum of Comics and Picture, owned by the municipality, is located in Lucca in Via San Romano 4.
The aim of the museum is to preserve and make available to the public the collected heritage (about 30,000 original plates and sketches and about 500,000 books and newspapers) during the activity of the International Lucca Comedy Exhibition in 1965.

The material is exposed to rotation, but full consultation is possible through computerized locations. Multimedia projections and virtual presences of designers telling their work make visitors a real journey into the history and the world of comics.
