CANICATTINI BAGNI OF SYRACUSE

Canicattini Bagni is an Italian town of 7.385 inhabitants in the province of Syracuse in Sicily.

Its name comes from the Arabic Ayn-at-tin (source of the mud), the appropriate "Bagni" does not indicate the presence of spas, but the belonging of the territory to the Marquis Danieli, lords of the fief of Bagni.

Siracusa is 23 km from Canicattini Bagni, while Ragusa is 58 km from the property. It rises in a hilly area, located 362 meters above sea level. It has an area of 1.511 hectares for a population density of 516 inhabitants per square kilometer.
